Snake Oil Superfoods - a fun, interactive way to learn if a "health food" is healthy or hype

This beautiful and informative interactive chart on superfoods and the evidence behind what makes them healthy (or not) caught my eye today - and I couldn't help but share.  If only all health information was this approachable!

This chart was created by David McCandless, a London-based author/writer/designer who's written for The Guardian and Wired.  Per his website, Information is Beautiful, he loves displaying data in visual formats with a minimum of words.  He has definitely succeeded in
"Snake Oil Superfoods."

Next post (coming soon!): How to make it through a 50 mile foot race through the mountains - and not feel like you're going to die.
